Japanese economist Kenichi Miyamoto is known as an expert in public finance and environmental economics. Professor Emeritus of Osaka City University, Doctor of Honor at Osaka City University, Doctor of Honor at Kanazawa University. He was also influenced by Hiroshi Mizuta, who received the Japan Academy Prize and researched the history of economic thought.
Kenichi Miyamoto studied public policy and regional economics by criticizing and examining Keynesian economics and Marxian economics. He also actively spoke out about pollution and environmental issues, and was the first to introduce Yokkaichi pollution and serve as a witness for the plaintiffs. We also conducted surveys on Okinawa after its return and conducted mercury surveys on indigenous people in Canada.
