生まれたのは1970年です。1997年にフリーの写真家として独立し、その後は文一総合出版から「ネイチャーガイド 海の甲殻類」を刊行するなど国内外で潜水取材を続けました。ダイビング雑誌の記事や写真執筆も行っています。
その後、2015年に平凡社より「日本クラゲ大図鑑」を刊行し、その後はBlack Water Dive®の商標登録を取得しています。このイベントは国内外で開催されています。2016年には第五回日経ナショナル ジオグラフィック写真賞グランプリを受賞するなど数々の賞に輝きました。また、2017年にニューヨーク市では初めて個展を立ち上げ、その後もキヤノンギャラリー銀座や名古屋や大阪でも「Jewels in the night sea 神秘のプランクトン」という写真集の個展を開催しました。
その後はTBSの人気番組「クレイジージャーニー」にも出演したり、2022年にgraniphとコラボレーションをし、幼魚水族館に自分の作品を展示するなど多数の活動を行っています。さらに清水町ふるさと大使として任命されました。また2024年にはSPEEDO社の競泳用水着としてPLANKTON COLLECTIONが発売されました。

Photographer. He is a member of the Japan Photographers Association and his copyright ID is HJPI320110003244. His specialty is underwater photography (videos and photos). He is also a Shimizu Town hometown ambassador.
I was born in 1970. In 1997, I became independent as a freelance photographer, and since then I have published ``Nature Guide: Crustaceans of the Sea'' by Bunichi Sogo Publishing and continued to do diving research both domestically and internationally. I also write articles and photos for diving magazines.
Subsequently, in 2015, Heibonsha published the "Japanese Jellyfish Illustrated Encyclopedia" and subsequently obtained the trademark registration for Black Water Dive®. This event is held both domestically and internationally. In 2016, he won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix at the 5th Nikkei National Geographic Photography Awards. In 2017, I held my first solo exhibition in New York City, and since then I have held solo exhibitions of my photo book ``Jewels in the Night Sea: Mysterious Plankton'' at Canon Gallery Ginza, Nagoya, and Osaka.
Since then, he has appeared on the popular TBS program "Crazy Journey," collaborated with graniph in 2022, and exhibited his works at a juvenile fish aquarium, among other activities. Furthermore, I was appointed as Shimizu Town's hometown ambassador. Also, in 2024, PLANKTON COLLECTION will be released as SPEEDO's competitive swimwear.
