鳥海靖（とりうみやすし、1934年1月21日 - 2020年2月29日）は、日本の歴史学者・日本近現代史研究者。東京大学名誉教授。立憲政治体制や歴史の相互理解を研究する。
鳥海靖は、東京市目黒区出身で、東京都立大学附属高等学校卒業後、1958年に東京大学文学部国史学科卒業。その後、同大学院人文科学研究科国史学専門課程博士課程を中退し、1961年から東京大学教養学部で助手を務め、後に専任講師、助教授、教授となり、1994年に定年退官した。
鳥海靖は、NHKスペシャルドラマ「坂の上の雲」では監修（脚本諮問委員）を務め、また、中国政府が行っている歴史教科書や教育について論じている。倉山満は、「日本近現代史の泰斗」と評している。
鳥海靖の著作には、『大世界史23　祖父と父の日本』（文藝春秋、1969年）、『「明治」をつくった男たち　歴史が明かした指導者の条件』（PHP研究所、1982年）などがあり、また編著としては『人物で学ぶ日本の歴史　社会科人物資料集』（学校図書、1992年）や『近代日本の転機 明治・大正編』（吉川弘文館、2007年）がある。

Yasushi Toriumi (January 21, 1934 - February 29, 2020) was a Japanese historian and researcher of modern Japanese history. Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo. Researching constitutional political systems and mutual understanding of history.
Yasushi Toriumi was born in Meguro Ward, Tokyo, and graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan University High School, and then the Department of Japanese History, Faculty of Letters, University of Tokyo in 1958. Afterwards, he dropped out of the doctoral program in the Japanese History Specialization Program at the Graduate School of Humanities and Sciences, and from 1961 worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo, later becoming a full-time lecturer, assistant professor, and professor, before retiring in 1994.
Yasushi Toriumi served as a supervisor (script advisory committee member) for the NHK special drama ``Clouds on the Slope,'' and also discusses history textbooks and education conducted by the Chinese government. Mitsuru Kurayama has described it as ``the landmark of modern Japanese history.''
