Kikuko Tsumura is a Japanese novelist. Born in Osaka Prefecture, graduated from Otani University's Faculty of Letters. After that, he wrote a novel based on his experience as an office worker, and in 2005, he won the 21st Dazai Osamu Award for ``Man Eater'' and made his debut as a novelist. As a part-time writer, he continued to write novels in two separate periods of sleep, and later became a full-time writer.
Tsumura's works mainly depict people living in Osaka and people who speak the Kansai dialect. He also enjoys watching sports, and enjoys overseas soccer, road races, and figure skating. His books include ``You Will Always Be Younger Than They'', ``Weddings, Funerals, and More'', and ``Music Bless You!!''.
