日本の歴史小説作家、時代小説作家。大阪府生まれ。京都大学文学部卒業。産経新聞社に入社し、その後化学会社役員となったが、1993年に『半蔵の槍』でデビュー。その初期は忍者を主役とした時代小説を手掛け、近年は史実に沿った歴史小説も執筆している。

He joined the Sankei Shimbun and later became an executive at a chemical company, but made his debut in 1993 with ``Hanzo no Spear.'' In his early years, he wrote historical novels featuring ninjas, and in recent years he has also written historical novels based on historical facts.
