Paleontologist Ikuo Obata was one of the first people in Japan to study dinosaurs. His accomplishments include disseminating knowledge about dinosaurs and contributing to the development of dinosaur research in Japan.
Ikuo Obata was born in 1929 and worked at the National Museum of Nature and Science after graduating from Kyushu University.
