Graduated from the Faculty of Letters and Science at Yamaguchi University and completed the doctoral course at the Graduate School of Letters at Kyushu University. After that, he worked as a lecturer, assistant professor, and professor at Towa University's Faculty of Engineering, and then became a professor at Tamagawa University's Faculty of Letters. Additionally, in 1997, he submitted ``A Systematic Concept for the Phenomenology of Mind: Reconstruction of Aristotle's Philosophy'' to Kyushu University, where he received a doctoral degree in literature.
