代表的な作品は、「戦場のコックたち」で第154回直木三十五賞候補に選ばれました。また、「ベルリンは晴れているか」も第160回直木三十五賞候候補に選ばれたことで知られています。2018年には「ベルリンは晴れているか」が第66回神奈川文化賞未来賞（奨励賞）を受賞しました。

English Summary
Catchphrase: An up-and-coming artist who depicts cooks on the battlefield.
Nobu Fukamidori is a novelist and mystery writer born in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture. After failing the entrance exams for the oil painting department and the advanced art expression department at Tokyo University of the Arts, he worked as a part-time bookseller before turning to become a full-time writer. Member of the Japan Mystery Writers Association.
In 2010, his short story "The Girl of Aubrun" was selected as an honorable mention for the 7th Mysteries! Newcomer's Award (selection committee: Kazuki Sakuraba, Masaki Tsuji, Tokuro Nukui), marking his debut as a writer. In the same year, he made his book debut.
His representative work, "Battlefield Cooks," was selected as a candidate for the 154th Naoki Sanjugo Award. He is also known for "Is Berlin Sunny?" which was selected as a candidate for the 160th Naoki Sanjugo Award. In 2018, "Is Berlin Sunny?" won the 66th Kanagawa Cultural Prize Future Award (Encouragement Award).
