Fujiko Hemming is a Japanese pianist born in 1931, but he grew up in Sweden from an early age, studied abroad as a refugee while attending the Berlin University of Music, and was active throughout Europe. Even after his mother passed away and he returned to Japan, he continued to perform concerts, and in 2001 he gave a recital at New York's Carnegie Hall. In his later years, he started his own CD label, Dougie Label, and was an active pianist both domestically and internationally.
