Kiyotada Tsutsui is a Japanese sociologist. After serving as a professor at Kyoto University, he became a professor and head of the Department of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Letters, Teikyo University. Senior Researcher, Tokyo Foundation. Specializes in modern Japanese history and historical sociology. Born in Oita City, Oita Prefecture.
He majored in historical sociology and received a Doctor of Letters degree from Kyoto University for his book on the structure of Japan in the Showa period.
