Nozomu Hayashi is a Japanese writer. Specializes in Japanese bibliography and early modern Japanese literature. He studied at Cambridge University and Oxford University, and was influenced by being the second son of his father, Yujiro Hayashi, a famous futurist. He wrote the essay ``Britain is Delicious'' based on his experiences while living in England, making his debut as a writer and winning the Japan Essayist Club Award. His books include a modern translation of ``The Tale of Genji.''
