1969年、駒澤大学経済学部卒業後、1971年に中村留精密工業に入社。その後、1988年に代表取締役社長に就任し、1995年に石川県職業能力開発協会会長や2000年に石川県発明協会会長を務めた。

Kenichi Nakamura is a Japanese businessman. He has served as executive committee chairman of the International Conference on Precision Engineering (ICPE) and chairman of the Japan Machine Tool Builders' Association, and is a fellow of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering. Received the Japan Society for Precision Engineering Award. He is also from Ishikawa Prefecture.
After graduating from Komazawa University's Faculty of Economics in 1969, he joined Nakamura Tome Precision Industry in 1971. He then became president and representative director in 1988, and served as chairman of the Ishikawa Prefecture Vocational Ability Development Association in 1995 and chairman of the Ishikawa Prefecture Invention Association in 2000.
