Rin Hamuro is a Japanese novelist. Born in Kokura, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. After working as a reporter for a local newspaper and in charge of radio news, he made his literary debut in 2005 when he won the 29th History and Literature Award for Kenzan Banshu. He won the 14th Matsumoto Seicho Prize in 2007 for ``Ginkan no Fu'' and the 146th Naoki Sanjugo Prize in 2012 for ``Saku no Ki'', and based in Kurume City, he has created historical novels that value the perspectives of losers and the weak.
