Kurumi Inui is a Japanese novelist and mystery writer. Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Shizuoka University. After that, he worked as a software developer at an IT company, but in 1998 he won the 4th Mephisto Award for ``The Myth of J'' and made his debut as a writer at the age of 34. ``Initiation Love'' was ranked 12th in ``This Mystery is Amazing!'' and 6th in ``Best 10 Authentic Mysteries.'' In 2005, ``Initiation Love'' was nominated for the 58th Japan Mystery Writers Association Award (full-length and short story collection category).
