火坂雅志（ひさかまさし）は、日本の小説家で、1956年生まれ。1978年に早稲田大学商学部卒業後、編集者として活動し、1988年に小説デビュー。代表作は『天地人』で、第13回中山義秀文学賞を受賞した。NHK大河ドラマ原作となり、大きな成功を収めました。
戦国時代の参謀役に焦点を当てた作品が多いことで知られます。以心崇伝（徳川家康の参謀）、施薬院全宗（豊臣秀吉の参謀）、沢彦（織田信長の参謀）などの人物に注目しました。
