Japanese diplomat. Mr. Yuji Kurokawa has served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ivory Coast. After graduating from the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as Consul General in Montreal and Director of the Foreign Affairs Research Office in the House of Representatives. Afterwards, he became a professor at Nihon University's School of International Relations and earned a doctorate on ``The Ivory Coast conflict and Japan's response.'' In 2021, he was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure.
