代表的な翻訳作には、アメリカン・サイコ（ブレット・イーストン・エリス）、わが秘めたる人生（ポール・セロー）、イリワッカー（ピーター・ケアリー）など多数含まれる。『黒猫』を始めとした、世界の文学作品への翻訳も行った。

Takayoshi Ogawa is a Japanese scholar of English literature and translator. Professor emeritus at Tokyo Institute of Technology.
After completing a master's degree at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of English, he served as an associate professor at Yokohama City University and a professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology's Foreign Language Education Center. Retired from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2016. He is the author of ``The Secret of Translation: How to ``Write'' Translated Novels'' (2009).
His most notable translations include American Psycho (Bret Easton Ellis), My Secret Life (Paul Theroux), Ylliwhacker (Peter Carey), and many others. He has also translated works of literature around the world, including ``Black Cat.''
