Rin Sawamura was born on July 5, 1963. A Japanese novelist from Hiroshima Prefecture, he graduated from Hiroshima Prefectural Hiroshima Kokutaiji High School and Tottori University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Veterinary Medicine.
I started writing novels because I loved reading from an early age and was influenced by my mother. In 1991, his debut work ``Refrain'' was a finalist for the 3rd Japan Fantasy Novel Award, and he later made his debut as a writer with the same work.
In 2008, he was nominated for the 61st Japan Mystery Writers Association Award (short story category) for ``Personnel Man'', and in 2009, he was nominated for the 62nd Japan Mystery Writers Association Award (short story category) for ``The Fate of the Past Life''.
