酒井まゆは日本の漫画家。東京都福生市出身。集英社の漫画雑誌『りぼん』を中心に活動している。血液型A型。集英社では、「まゆぽん」という愛称で親しまれており、自らも公式ブログの中で「まゆぽそ」と自称している。
来歴は以下のとおり。
小花美穂のアシスタントを経て、『りぼんオリジナル』2000年2月号に掲載された「プライマル・オレンジ」でデビュー。後に『ボクたちの旅』が初連載作品となる。後々、同誌にて『ナインパズル』（全6回）、『永田町ストロベリィ』（全22回）の連載を経て、『ピーターパン♠症候群（シンドローム）』は短期で終了したが、その直後の連載作『ロッキン★ヘブン』は長期連載となる。2008年1月号より同誌『MOMO 終末庭園へようこそ』の連載を開始。この作品ではカラーイラストにCGを取り入れている。
また、2009年からはファンタジー読み切りを中心にジャンプスクエアに出張執筆もこなしており、一方で『りぼん』での連載も続けており、『りぼん』2010年12月号から2015年7月号まで『シュガー＊ソルジャー』（全47回）を連載し、この作品が現時点での最長連載作品となっている。2020年7月号より2023年9月号まで『ハロー、イノセント』を連載。2025年7月号からは『曖昧ブルー・ビースト』が連載されている。

Mayu Sakai is a Japanese manga artist. Born in Fussa City, Tokyo. He is mainly active in Shueisha's manga magazine ``Ribon''. Blood type A. In Shueisha, he is affectionately known as ``Mayupon,'' and he even calls himself ``Mayuposo'' on his official blog.
The history is as follows.
After working as Miho Obana's assistant, she made her debut with ``Primal Orange,'' which was published in the February 2000 issue of ``Ribon Original.'' Later, ``Our Journey'' became his first serialized work. Later, after being serialized in the same magazine as ``Nine Puzzle'' (6 episodes in total) and ``Nagatacho Strawberry'' (22 episodes in total), ``Peter Pan ♠ Syndrome'' ended in a short period of time, but the serial work immediately after that, ``Rockin' Heaven'', became a long-term serial. From the January 2008 issue, the magazine began serializing ``Welcome to the MOMO Shusaku Garden''. This work incorporates CG into the color illustrations.
In addition, since 2009, he has been writing for Jump Square, focusing on fantasy one-shots, while continuing to serialize in Ribon, including serializing ``Sugar Soldier'' (47 episodes in total) from the December 2010 issue to the July 2015 issue of Ribon, making this work the longest serialized work to date. "Hello, Innocent" will be serialized from the July 2020 issue to the September 2023 issue. ``Ambiguous Blue Beast'' has been serialized since the July 2025 issue.
