Kou Shinjo is a Japanese novelist. Born in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. When he was a teenager, he committed a crime and was admitted to a juvenile training school. After spending two years as a ronin, he graduated from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University. I worked at Recruit, but quit after a year and also had experience in venture business and manual labor.
He made his debut in 2012 by winning the 36th Subaru Literary Award for ``Narrow House''. Since then, he has published many works. His best-known works include ``New Karma'' and ``Jijishi-tachi.'' In addition, "Sara Leo" was serialized in the May 2018 issue of "Gunzo".
