**Introduction**
Masayuki Kusumi, who is active in a wide range of activities as a manga author, manga artist, essayist, illustrator, cover designer, and composer, was born in Mitaka City, Tokyo. After becoming interested in art and music, he studied under Genpei Akasegawa. He also teamed up with Haruki Izumi and made his manga debut as ``Masayuki Izumi'' in ``Garo'' magazine, and has since released many works, including ``Photo Four-Koma Manga'' with photographer Junsuke Takimoto, and ``Kodoku no Gourmet'' with Jiro Taniguchi. It has been made into a TV drama and short film, and is still active today.
