My major is the legal history and intellectual history of medieval Japanese history. Born in Tokyo. After completing his doctoral course at Chuo University Graduate School of Japanese History, he served as a professor at Kanagawa University Junior College and Kanagawa University Graduate School of History and Folklore, before becoming a professor at Shizuoka University of Arts and Culture's Faculty of Cultural Policy.
