Kaoru Hayamine (born 1964) is a Japanese male novelist. Born in Ise City, Mie Prefecture. Graduated from Mie Prefectural Ujiyamada High School, Department of Mathematics. I mainly write juvenile mysteries. In 1989, he made his debut with ``Phantom Thief Clown'', which was selected as an honorable mention at the 30th Kodansha Children's Literature Newcomer Award.
In the afterword of the novel, he expresses his gratitude to his wife, two sons, and everyone who helped him produce the book. The works often share the same world view and characters, and are also characterized by parodies scattered here and there.
