Japanese poet Hiromi Ito was born in 1955 in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. After graduating from Tokyo Metropolitan Takehaya High School and the Department of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Letters, Aoyama Gakuin University, he studied under Iwao Abe at the New Japan Literary Society's School of Literature in 1975, and launched the poetry magazine ``Randum''. While working as a poet, she also writes novels and picture books. He also lives between Kumamoto City and California.
