多崎礼（たさきれい）は日本の小説家。2006年に中央公論新社主催の第2回C★NOVELS大賞に応募した『煌夜祭』が大賞を受賞しデビュー。工学部で画像工学を教えてくれる遠くの理系大学卒業後、広告代理店に入社するも1年半ほどで辞職。その時初めて真剣に小説家になろうと決心する。以降アルバイトを続けながら17年間投稿生活を続ける。

Rei Tasaki is a Japanese novelist. In 2006, he made his debut in the 2nd C★NOVELS Grand Prize sponsored by Chuokoron-Shinsha, winning the Grand Prize for ``Kouyasai.'' After graduating from a distant science university where the engineering department taught image engineering, he joined an advertising agency, but resigned after about a year and a half. It was then that he seriously decided to become a novelist. Since then, he has been posting for 17 years while continuing to work part-time.
