**花が心にさわって、詩が世界を彩る**
星野富弘は日本の詩人、画家。国内外で「花の詩画展」が開かれ、群馬県名誉県民、みどり市名誉市民である。
生涯
1946年、群馬県勢多郡東村に生まれる。1967年に群馬大学教育学部保健体育科を卒業し、高崎市立倉賀野中学校の体育教師となる。しかし同年6月にクラブ活動の指導中に頭部から転落し頸髄を損傷し、手足の自由を失う。
1972年に群馬大学病院入院中に詩と絵を描き始め、1974年に病室でキリスト教の洗礼を受ける。1979年に前橋で最初の作品展を開く。同年9月に退院。
1981年に『愛・深き淵より』を出版し、雑誌や新聞に詩画作品やエッセイを連載する。同年結婚。また群馬県文化賞、上毛出版文化賞を受賞する。
1990年に東村名誉村民となる。1991年に村立富弘美術館が開館。2005年に富弘美術館新館が開く。2006年に芦北町立星野富弘美術館が開設される。
2012年に第79回NHK全国学校音楽コンクール高等学校の部課題曲「明日へ続く道」および「もう一度」を作詞する。
2021年12月、みどり市立富弘美術館の入館者が700万人を超える。同年4月28日に呼吸不全で78歳で死去。6月にみどり市名誉市民第1号として顕彰される。

Tomihiro Hoshino is a Japanese poet and painter. The ``Flower Poetry Exhibition'' has been held both domestically and internationally, and he is an honorary citizen of Gunma Prefecture and Midori City.
lifetime
Born in 1946 in Higashi Village, Seta District, Gunma Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Health and Physical Education, Faculty of Education, Gunma University in 1967, and became a physical education teacher at Kuragano Junior High School in Takasaki City. However, in June of the same year, while coaching a club activity, he fell on his head and injured his cervical spinal cord, causing him to lose the freedom of his limbs.
In 1972, he began writing poems and drawings while hospitalized at Gunma University Hospital, and was baptized into Christianity in his hospital room in 1974. He held his first exhibition in Maebashi in 1979. He was discharged from the hospital in September of the same year.
In 1981, he published ``Love: From the Depths'' and serialized his poetry, paintings, and essays in magazines and newspapers. Married the same year. He also received the Gunma Prefecture Cultural Award and the Jomo Publishing Culture Award.
Became an honorary villager of Higashi Village in 1990. In 1991, the Village Tomihiro Museum of Art opened. In 2005, the new wing of Tomihiro Art Museum opens. In 2006, the Ashikita Tomihiro Hoshino Art Museum was opened.
In 2012, he wrote the lyrics for the 79th NHK National School Music Competition High School's division theme songs ``The Path Continued to Tomorrow'' and ``Once Again.''
In December 2021, the number of visitors to Midori Tomihiro Art Museum will exceed 7 million. He died of respiratory failure on April 28 of the same year at the age of 78. In June, he was honored as the first honorary citizen of Midori City.
