Hiroyuki Arai is active as a picture book author, toy author, and designer. Born in Tokyo, Japan, raised and lives in Machida City. After graduating from the Department of Design, Faculty of Art and Design, Tokyo Zokei University, he worked at Sega, but later made his debut as a picture book author.
