上田健次は1943年12月29日、大阪府出身のプロゴルファー。1969年にプロ入りし、1970年の美津濃プロ新人では2位に入った。
その後、九州オープンでは1974年には鈴木規夫の2位を記録し、1977年には鈴木・上田鉄弘に次ぐ4位を獲得した。1975年の中日クラウンズでは大会第1号ホールインワンを記録した。
1989年の関西オープンを最後にレギュラーツアーから引退し、シニア転向後は1993年に関西プロシニア9位タイを果たしている。

Kenji Ueda is a professional golfer born on December 29, 1943 in Osaka Prefecture. He turned professional in 1969, and in 1970 he finished second among Mitsuno professional rookies.
After that, he finished second in the Kyushu Open in 1974 behind Norio Suzuki, and in 1977 he finished fourth behind Suzuki and Tetsuhiro Ueda. At the 1975 Chunichi Crowns, he recorded the tournament's first hole-in-one.
He retired from the regular tour after the 1989 Kansai Open, and after turning senior, he tied for 9th place in the Kansai Pro Seniors in 1993.
