森本あんりは1956年生まれ、日本の神学者、牧師、国際基督教大学名誉教授。1975年に東京都立小石川高等学校を卒業し、1979年に国際基督教大学教養学部人文科学科を卒業。1982年に東京神学大学大学院組織神学修士課程を修了し、1986年まで日本基督教団松山城東教会で牧師として活躍した。1991年にプリンストン神学大学院で博士号（Ph.D.）を取得し、その後国際基督教大学に勤務し、2001年に教授となり、2012年から2020年まで学務副長を務めた。2022年4月から東京女子大学の第17代目学長を務める。
著書として「使徒信条 エキュメニカルなシンボルをめぐる神学黙想」や「ジョナサン・エドワーズ研究 アメリカ・ピューリタニズムの存在論と救済論」を出版し、1996年に第1回アメリカ学会・清水博賞を受賞した。さらに、プリンストン大学やカリフォルニア大学バークレー校で客員教授を務めている。

Introduction:
Anri Morimoto was born in 1956 and is a Japanese theologian, pastor, and professor emeritus at International Christian University. Graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Koishikawa High School in 1975, and from International Christian University's Faculty of Liberal Arts, Department of Humanities in 1979. In 1982, he completed a master's degree in systematic theology at Tokyo Theological University, and served as a pastor at Matsuyama Joto Church, United Church of Christ in Japan until 1986. He received his Ph.D. from Princeton School of Theology in 1991 and then worked at International Christian University, where he became a professor in 2001 and served as vice president for academic affairs from 2012 to 2020. He will serve as the 17th president of Tokyo Women's University from April 2022.
His books include ``The Apostles' Creed: A Theological Meditation on Ecumenical Symbols'' and ``Jonathan Edwards: A Study of the Ontology and Soteriology of American Puritanism,'' for which he won the first Hiroshi Shimizu Prize of the American Society of American Studies in 1996.
