Aoshima began working in the television industry in the 1950s. He became a successful broadcast writer and wrote the lyrics for ``Sudara Bushi,'' a song about the period of high economic growth. He also wrote the theme songs for movies starring Crazy Cats and the ``Waka Taisho Series''.
